Award winning, Edinburgh based freelance photographer & image maker.

Commercially I specialise in still life, drinks, glassware, and product based advertising imagery.
I enjoy a particular interest in capturing the fluid beauty in liquids, and this proves a recurring theme in my work.

I also create narrative designs for theatre posters, CD covers and book covers.

In my personal work I explore creative, abstract imagery, often appearing scientific in nature, and often inspired by our continued understanding of, and wonder in the universe.

I originally trained as a sculptor and visual artist, graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in the mid nineties. That's where I first picked up a camera, starting out then with my Rolleiflex SL35 film camera.

Things are digital now, but often those sculptural & fine art concerns still find their way into my work.

I love spending my free time getting lost in the Scottish Highlands, with my camera.
